Great Zumba shoe!, September 19, 2011 By DVDdancemaniac (Vancouver, BC, Canada) - See all my reviews This review is from: ASICS Women's GEL-Naomi 2 Cross-Trainer (Apparel) I am coming back from a metatarsal injury and this shoe has proven to be awesome! It guides your foot forward to the proper position, provides great lateral support, overall foot support and has gel in the heel and forefoot. I had to lace them up to the top to prevent the heel from slipping, but that's minor considering my poor, injured foot! I could not find this shoe anywhere else but online, and I'm happy I ordered. I am usually a size 9, but I ordered a 9 and a half, just as I would in Nike shoes. My feet are not narrow or wide, but I have a slightly high arch. My feet did not slip or stick doing my Zumba moves. May need the Gel Enthrall for summer months, since this shoe is not mesh, may be too hot by summer. But, overall, very happy with the shoe!!!

Their cross trainers which have the pivoting circle at the bottom such as this one has proven to be the ultimate shoe for Zumba. I teach other formats such as kick box and truly lends to provide the needed shock support to teach this class at higher intensities. I strongly recommend this shoe and the only reason I did not give it a perfect score is due to it's exterior. I am a fan of black shoes and this one has too much white pin striping for my taste. I bought this one since my all time favorite, Asics Enthrall, was not available. I hope Asics continues to make the Enthrall too.
